Welcome to the NHK writer Tatsuhiko Takimoto revealed on Instagram that a new manga based on his web novel ISEKAI NANPA ~ Hitting on Elves, Nekomimi Girls, and Loli Dragons as an Unemployed Hikikomori ~ is going to be published on the mobile app MangaONE. It will be written by Miyake Riku, with art by Aruta Hisamizu.
Along with the news, Takimoto also shared a link to the first 10 ten chapters of the web novel translated in English.
Welcome to the NHK was previously published in English by Tokyopop, but the book is long out of print. The manga version is currently available digitally from Viz Media. The anime, produced by Studio Gonzo, is available streaming from Funimation. A live-action adaptation of another of Takimoto’s novels, Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge was released on DVD by Go Well USA in 2010.
ISEKAI NANPA will debut on MangaONE January 10, 2021.
