Aggretsuko comic writer Daniel Barnes joked on Twitter the other day about how Luniz’s 90s hip-hop classic “I Got 5 on It” sounded like it could be dungeon music in The Legend of Zelda.

It wasn’t long before his friend Roger Hallway covered the song using The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask SoundFont. The result is fantastic.
Yesterday, I said that "I Got 5 On It" sounded like music from a Zelda dungeon. So, my homie @RogerHallaway responded to that by doing a cover of it with the soundfont from Majora's Mask pic.twitter.com/AcYB9aiuvH

Something I didn’t notice when the original song came out is that it’s about contributing $5 to purchase a bag of weed. The main melody is a sample of “Why You Treat Me So Bad” by Club Nouveau. And, as long as we’re here, it’s important to note that the second verse begins with the lyric, “I take sacks to the face whenever I can.”
A 4-minute version of Hallaway’s arrangement can be found here.
