Don’t worry everyone — that’s not the sound of a snake coming to eat you. It’s just SSSS.Gridman slithering its way to Toonami. It was announced during the Toonami Pre-Flight on Saturday that the Studio Trigger/Tsuburaya Productions collaboration would premiere on the programming block January 2021.
SSSS.Gridman is a 2018 anime based on the tokusatsu series Denkou Choujin Gridman. It was streamed on Funimation and Crunchyroll.
Toonami airs on Adult Swim every Saturday from 12:00am-4:00am EST. The current lineup is Dragon Ball Super, Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld, Fire Force, Assassination Classroom, Gemusetto, Naruto Shippuden, Demon Slayer, and Primal.
