On November 12, 2020, anonymous Twitter user BewareQFlynn accused anime and video game voice actor Quinton Flynn of using social media to manipulate fans into giving him sexual favors. Attached to their tweet was a now-private YouTube video that contained audio of a man they allege is the 56-year-old Flynn masturbating and describing a variety of sexual acts.
Since their initial post, they have shared additional accusations from mostly anonymous women via text logs, pictures, and video clips. Many of the accusations are of Flynn pressuring fans into sending nude pictures or engaging in sexual conversation. LaLaCosplay accused him of kissing them without consent when they were 17. An anonymous industry professional said that he licked her thigh during a photoshoot.
Anime fans may know Flynn for his role as Kon in Bleach and Iruka Umino in Naruto. He has also voiced several video game characters such as Raiden from Metal Gear Solid and Axel from Kingdom Hearts.
For those who wish to see the evidence themselves, BewareQFlynn’s account is still active. They have also compiled everything on a Google Drive. Keep in mind, the content is very disturbing.
As of today, Flynn has not responded to the allegations.
